Family Counseling

Families can be the foundation of who we are...

and are great sources of comfort and support. Even with all the love in the world for each other, sometimes communication can be challenging and can lead to confusion, frustration, anger, sadness, and/or resentment.

Maybe even the idea of family counseling sounds stressful to you and that’s understandable. I want you to know I have experience working with a variety of families and can help with making communication less stress and helping you to resolve your differences. I am glad to hear everyone’s views and support you all in finding ways to make life more peaceful by coming up with goals together that we will move towards in our sessions.

It is important to remember we are all different, even if we are related to each other and connect in different positive ways. This is normal and human. Sometimes people feel stuck about how to move past those differences. Family counseling can offer the support you need to reconnect in ways that help you grow together through your differences. It may even strength your relationship(s) by learning some strategies on how to work together through future differences without the help of a counselor. All family members are welcome to family counselor, but they must be physically present in the state of New Jersey (as required by law). I am not able to see families in Pennsylvania at this time.

I offer a free consultation. See if counseling is for you without the commitment.
